also, this is the MOST FANTASTIC idea every! And something I have been wanting to do for a long time (sans the playing cards, but what a great way to do it!).
I think we may be style soul mates!! Though your style is much cooler...and I am thinking this because of the letters. Oh, and another PS: I think your writing is amazing. Very fun and funny and clever and well done!
This is so sweet! Your son is so lucky to have such an emotionally expressive mother. My parents and I are from two different cultures, so sometimes it was hard for us to express ourselves to one another when I was growing up. We're better at it now. I remember one of the things my Mom did when we were younger was start journals for my brother and me. We each wrote an entry and then my Mom would respond on the same page. It really helped for more difficult times, like when our year-old cat passed away. the renegade bean
Your letters are so sweet. Especially the last one for your little boy. Your love shines through every single word...and drawing:-) Loved that! Go on with this. I would be very proud to receive such a letter from one of my friends.
just wonderful. although i'm not a mommy (the thought is so far from my mind right now...) i do look forward to feeling this way about a special little person one day.
What a fabulous idea! so cool. you rock my world and are my fav.girl crush! if we were neighbors we would so be great friends! I adore this idea and am gonna do something like this before it's too late ! I know the powers that be will direct my letters in the proper order ! thanx once again for inspiration! ( I didn't have children, but your dad-in-law sounds just like my dad !
What? How come I never knew about this? This is soooooooooo cute! I love the letter about going to NYC, I'm sure your brite little boy was very able to understand this. Looking forward to seeing some more!
I have a bunch of social loose ends I painfully remember each person I have failed and it eats me up inside SO, 52 weeks in a year 52 cards in a deck 52 letters to write, BY HAND I wrote the names of 52 people on playing cards shuffle the deck each week then write and send that person a letter Trust me, this is something I have been NEEDING to do
